Children 12 to 17 throughout the Southeast diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) now have a special Jewish summer camp with a supportive environment that encourages social interaction and personal growth. Beginning this summer, Camp Ramah Darom will offer a new Tikvah program with two four-week summer experiences designed specifically for ASD campers.
We offer a unique program for individuals with autism using visually structured programming, 1:1 and 1:2 positive support from well trained college and graduate students, development of independent living skills, and opportunities for engaging in social interaction with peers.
Our overnight camp sessions vary in length. Each Overnight provides a two-day, one-night overnight camp experience. Our summer sessions provide a lengthier stay totaling a four day, three-night overnight camp opportunity. Each camp offers a quality experience involving relationship development, recreation, and relaxation and is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders.

Adirondack Expressions Art Camp is a joint project of the Transitions program and the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts.
