The Conductive Education of Orlando (CECO) offers a fun and educational summer camp, focused on Conductive Education, which implements an intensive physical, social-emotional, and cognitive program for individuals with motor disabilities. CECO is proud to offer programming options for all ages from early childhood through adulthood.
Camp TBI has been reaching children and young adults (ages 10-21) since 2000. The Camp is staffed with a volunteer staff made up of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist, Nurses and others in the rehabilitation field. Camp is free to all children and young adults, from the states of Georgia and South Carolina who meet the required criteria for traumatic brain injury.
Camp in Motion is an adaptive sports camp for children with physical limitations. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are onsite throughout the camp week. One on one camper buddies are assigned to assist in participation in the camp experience. A wide variety of sports options and swimming are available daily. Summer Camp at CLC is an opportunity for students of all ages to come for an intensive four-week session of conductive education. Groups of students, similar in age and physical challenges, learn mobility skills, independence, and functional daily living skills, within a supportive group atmosphere of fun and adventure. Students meet for three to six hours per day depending upon their group and age.
