Financial Assistance Available

Partial Scholarships for BlazeSports Summer Camp 2015 are available on request.

All meals are included in the cost. Breakfast consists of cereal, fruit, eggs, bacon, bread, orange juice, apple juice. Lunch and dinenr are usually warm cooked meals with a choice of 2 options. Vegetarian options are available and food allergies are also catered for.

About BlazeSports Summer Camp
BlazeSports Summer Camp is a five-day, five-night overnight summer camp that provides youth ages 7-17 with a physical disability with an opportunity to become involved in sport and recreation activities, make friends and most of all have fun. Youth eligible for camp must have a physical impairment such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation, spinal cord injury, visual impairment, blindness, muscular dystrophy or other related disabilities.

Expert Qualified Staff
BlazeSports Camp staff are certified in CPR and Advanced First Aid, risk management and also have the following certifications: certified therapeutic recreation specialist, adapted physical education and certified disability sports specialist. There will also be a full time nurse on site.

Location
BlazeSports Camp takes place at the state of the art facility, Camp Dream, Warm Springs, Georgia. The camp is situated on 74 acres of wooded land, located in the grounds of the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. Facilities include a swimming pool, gymnasium, bowling alley, camp fire area, track, fishing and boating lake, nature trails, outdoor pavilion and entertainment spaces. All camp facilities are designed to be fully accessible.

Cost
$350 This includes all meals, lodging, bed linens, and activities.
