We’ve very recently launched a brand new section on VerySpecialCamps.com dedicated to news, updates, and resources with respect to summer camps which serve individuals with special needs.

If you are a camper, parent, family member, guardian, caretaker:  check back in the future for particular resources which might be of beneficial use in so far as selecting a particular camp or information which might be of assistance in either preparing for or actually attending summer camp.

Updated Website Format & Layout

If you are a returning visitor to VerySpecialCamps.com, you may have noticed some improvements we’ve made recently which involve a basic redesign of our website structure. While most of the information and functionality are similar in nature to our prior version, we’ve made an effort to improve the basic style elements of our design to increase the ease of use in terms of navigation, readability, and efficiency of how information is presented.

In particular, you’ll find the following feature improvements:

  • wider content area, allowing for more information to be viewable
  • new font sizing and style for a cleaner and more readable presentation
  • enhanced color scheme
  • addition of a News & Resources section

In the future, we anticipate building upon our new structural framework & adding increased functionality for both those individuals seeking a suitable summer camp or program to attend or are for directors of a special needs camps who are interested in enhancing their presence and spreading the word about their programming.
