Arms in Action is an intensive summer therapy camp for children with hemiplegia ages 4 to 10 years old. The camp, led by occupational and physical therapists, will use principles of modified constraint-induced movement therapy and bimanual intensive training in a playful, engaging and fun group setting.

Throughout the camp, caregiver training sessions will be provided to introduce and go over the fundamentals of hemiplegia, address parent concerns and provide home carry-over activities.

Arms in Action camp is led by a team of experienced pediatric occupational therapists and physical therapists. The camper to therapist ratio is 3:1. Each camper will be met at their level to build on function and success.

Our team incorporates each camper's unique functional goals into the daily camp schedule.

Children will participate in activities using their weaker arm, as well as bimanual activities to promote the functional use of their arms and hands. Children will engage in play, self-care activities and prepare snacks every day.
