We do offer Weekend Family Retreats where Siblings and Parents are a part of the program. We do NOT offer this during our summer camp sessions.

Camp Boggy Creek, a serious fun camp, offers life-changing, medically safe camp experiences for children with serious medical conditions. We offer a variety of camp sessions and weekend family retreats to cover specific illnesses at no fee to families:

During each of our overnight summer sessions, campers arrive for an experience of fun, adventure and independence. The prescription for the day is fun, fun, fun! Laughter, giggles, friendships and excitement abound on the 232 acres of tall pines and majestic oaks. While keeping everyone feeling safe, respected, and loved, staff and volunteers empower campers to try new activities for the first time.

Campers have opportunities to gain a spirit of accomplishment at every turn and to feel like a kid and forget that "they have what they have." Campers can catch a fish, shoot arrows at archery, make a woodshop project, perform on stage and so much more, all while making some wonderful new friends who have similar medical experiences. Each session of camp we host a different serious illness group.

Financial Assistance Available

All of our camps and family retreat weekends are provided at ZERO cost to families.

Each week may bring different dietary requirements for our campers, so our culinary team aims to accommodate each group separately. Oftentimes, depending on the disease group, parents will need to bring specific foods for their child which our team prepares for them.

Camp Boggy Creek is a magical place that provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious medical illnesses. Founded by Actor Paul Newman, and General Norman Schwarzkopf, our camp has served over 90,000 children and families over the past 26 years. Camp Boggy Creek creates an environment where children can get away from their medical challenges and thrive in safe, loving, accepting, and FUN environment.

We've got a state-of-the-art medical facility, a heated amazing swimming pool, beautiful sparkling lake, an arts and craft center, stables, trails, and beautiful, well maintained cabins.

The Camp Boggy Creek facilities are maintained and upgraded year-round, to offer the most unique and accessible camp available to children with serious illnesses. From our pool to our medical center - we have it all.
