Siblings without a disability (aged 5-13) may attend most summer sessions, as well as our Parent's Night Out program.

Family Weekend Retreats afford *the entire immediate family* the opportunity to spend a weekend at CAMP. They offer a great introduction to CAMP and are the perfect way to get to know us!

Our programming is split into two "seasons": School-Year Programs and Summer.

Our Summer sessions take place May-August. This is an overnight program for which check-in takes place on Sunday, and check-out takes place on Friday. Our summer schedule can be found here: https://campcamp.org/campers/summer/

School-Year Programs take place September-May of each year and consist of Parents Night Out, Teen and Adult Day Adventure, Respite Weekend Camps, Spring Break Camp, and Family Weekend Retreats.

Financial Assistance Available

Campers may choose to pay the full fee of $1800, use respite units to attend, utilize the Scholarship Tier, or request additional financial assistance.

The Scholarship Tier adjusts the cost according to household income. If the tier for which you qualify is not affordable, you may request additional financial assistance. It's important to us that cost not be a barrier to attending and that everyone who wants to come to CAMP - can!

We accept respite through the following Medicaid Waiver programs: CLASS, DBMD, HCS, Texas Home Living, and STAR Kids/MDCP.

CAMP is able to support most special dietary needs, including gluten and/or casein free, dairy or lactose free, vegetarian, vegan, low carbohydrate, PKU, etc... Campers with more restrictive diets may bring food from home. We're able to support individuals who use
g-tubes and feeding pumps as well. We are a nut-free facility!

CAMP specializes in modifying traditional camping activities to meet the abilities and needs of each camper. We strive for a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio and have an incredible team of healthcare volunteers who support the medical needs of our campers. Each camper is assigned to a tribe based on gender and age and stays in large, climate controlled, and wheelchair accessible cabins.

Since 1979, CAMP's vision for all programs is that “CAMP is for the camper.” This means regardless of the ability or disability, all campers will be respected, encouraged, inspired, and celebrated during their participation in our programs. This vision filters down into everything we do – from activities, to training, to our daily culture.
