An overnight camp serving individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities. Affiliated with Civitan Foundation. Arts and crafts, field trips, food and nutrition education, evening activities (barbecues, campfires, dances, hayrides, karaoke, movie nights, skits), gardening, guest instructors, sports and recreation. One-week sessions May 31-Aug ; $955 (includes transportation from Civitan Village in Phoenix); scholarships available.

Scholarships are offered based on financial need, and are limited. Individuals must submit a scholarship application to receive consideration. Contact camp@campcivitan.org for more info. Civitan is also a Qualified Vendor with DES/DDD, and accepts respite hours for camp.

Campers received three delicious home-cooked meals per day, as well as special snacks based on camp activities. Camp kitchen staff is accustomed to catering to a variety of dietary needs and restrictions, and can accommodate most or all requests mandated by necessity. Under special circumstances, campers are permitted to bring their own food to camp.

Civitan Foundation's longest running and most beloved program offers week-long camp sessions throughout the summer, and weekend adventures once a month during the rest of the year. Camp Civitan is a 15-acre wheelchair accessible facility for developmentally disabled children and adults in the cool Northern Arizona pine country town of Williams.

This program offers campers a variety of enriching and fun experiences that promote positive self-esteem, teamwork, socialization, and healthy activities.

We believe that the benefit of a traditional week-long camp or weekend camp experience allows individuals to blossom and grow away from home and family routines. Our campers gain new self-confidence, skills, and independence as a result of their camp experience. This is a result not only of the rural, residential camp environment, but also due to the targeted, enriching programming provided at Camp Civitan. Our camp programs are designed to promote positive, healthy lifestyles while building meaningful and lasting relationships.
