Camp Coelho 2018 will be held from Sunday, June 24th through Friday, June 29th.

Financial Assistance Available

Full and partial scholarships are available to all campers, based on financial need.

Camp Coelho provides a safe, residential camping experience for children with epilepsy full of fun, nature-oriented activities that help promote self-esteem, self-confidence and independence as well as build long-lasting friendships.

Camp Coelho takes place at the CYO Camp in Occidental, CA, outside of Santa Rosa.

Each camper must have a primary diagnosis of epilepsy and be on some form of anti-convulsant therapy during camp.

A physician and RNs, all specializing in epilepsy will be on-site 24 hours a day. Camp Coelho counselors are selected for their experience and enthusiasm for working with young children. All counselors receive special training in seizure recognition and first aid. Our camper to counselor ratio is 3-1.
