Camp Easterseals Oregon

Easterseals Oregon's barrier-free summer camp for children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs provides a place where activities are designed to be inclusive. Campers discover new abilities, gain independence, make lifelong friendships, and build lasting memories. In addition, caregivers receive respite time to rejuvenate themselves. Our camp sessions are five-days and four-nights in July at Evans Creek Retreat.

Covid-19 Information

With the ever-present risk of COVID-19, we want to ensure all campers and their families that Camp Easterseals Oregon staff, counselors, and volunteers will be taking preventative steps which align with the guidance of the CDC and local health authorities. As such, the following policies are currently in effect for this year’s camp, and they may be subject to change:

1. All staff, counsellors, campers, and volunteers at our camp will be required to wear masks anytime they are indoors and within 6 feet of others. Masks are able to be removed indoors only while eating or drinking. Masks will not be required outdoors.

2. All staff, counsellors, campers, and volunteers will be required to either present valid proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or present a professionally-documented medical exemption to vaccination in order to complete registration.

Camp Sessions
Our Summer Camp is a five day, four night stay with meals included and offered during the summer months each year. We offer sessions for ages 9-29 and ages 30-60+. Current Camp dates can be found on our website.

Program Fees
Please check out our website to see current program fees for camp. Easterseals Oregon has scholarships available for campers with demonstrated financial need. We want to make sure cost is not a barrier for our campers.

Food/Nutritional

Nutritionally balanced food will be prepared for campers daily, on-site, by Evans Creek Retreat staff. If a camper has dietary restrictions, they can disclose them on the camp registration paperwork.
