Siblings may attend if they are also grieving the loss of a loved one and they meet all camper requirements.

Camp Erin is an overnight camp for children ages 8-17 who are grieving the loss of a loved one held August 5th-7th, 2022. There is no fee to attend Camp Erin. Application is required for all campers, as well as a pre-camp assessment for all new campers. Save your spot pizza party will take place in Columbus on July 28th @ 6pm and in Cleveland on July 29th @ 6pm.

There is no fee to attend Camp Erin, it is free!

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided during the duration of camp.

Camp Erin is the largest national bereavement program for youth who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Children and teens ages 8 to 17 attend a weekend camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities. Led by bereavement professionals and caring volunteers, campers are provided a safe environment to explore their grief, learn essential coping skills, and make friends with peers who are also grieving. Additional services are offered to support the whole family outside of the camp weekend. Through a network of partnerships with bereavement programs in local communities across the US and Canada, Camp Erin brings hope and healing to thousands of children and families annually and is offered at no cost to families. Please note that attendance at the Save Your Spot Pizza Party is mandatory in order to secure your spot at Camp Erin. Columbus Pizza Party will be held on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Cleveland Pizza Party will be held on Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. At this meeting we will be going over important release forms, medical information, and what you can expect from the camp weekend. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity to meet others who will be at camp, providing them with a familiar face when they attend camp.
