Caregivers/PCAs need to pay the full camp fee as well.

Each summer session is 5-days and the price does not include money for the camp store.

Register By March 31st (Save $50) – $720 ($770 if paid by IRIS to cover additional payment processing cost)
Register After March 31st – $770 ($820 if paid by IRIS to cover additional payment processing cost)

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at registration.
Payment of the remaining balance is due no later than May 24, 2024

Financial Assistance Available

We realize that camp is expensive, and while these registration fees are necessary to keep camp running, we don’t want this to prohibit someone from attending. Thanks to the generous donations of ministry partners who share this belief, we’re blessed to be able to offer financial support to families who would otherwise find the cost of camp prohibitive.

Before applying to LuWiSoMo for assistance, we ask that you check with your congregation regarding any support they may be able to offer. Many congregations share our belief and desire for everyone to have the opportunity to come to camp and have funds established to provide support for those needing some help to make this happen.

The Joyful Hearts program is specially designed for individuals who have developmental disabilities. This program provides a quality camping experience in a safe, Christian environment.

All campers take part in the usual camp activities, but each activity is modified based on the needs of the campers each week. These activities include, but aren't limited to, worship, Bible Studies, campfires, swimming, canoeing, archery, games, arts and crafts, and many others.

Joyful Hearts campers also have special activities each day to make the week a truly special experience.

Our staff members and volunteers are specially trained in working with campers with a variety of disabilities. The staff are committed to ensuring that each camper receives personal guidance and assistance as needed. We strive to maintain a one-to-one or two-to one ratio of campers to staff/volunteers to ensure that each camper has the best camp experience possible. Campers stay in our Krueger Retreat Center and will eat meals in our new dining hall (attached to the Krueger Retreat Center).
