Caregivers

Caregiver/nursing accompaniment is required for individuals who require maximal assistance for feeding, diapering, or medical needs (ie. seizure or complex medication management) during the camp day.

Multiple week long day camps are offered throughout the summer.

Financial Assistance Available

The cost of the camp can be submitted to most health insurance plans, under therapy services. Paying out of pocket is also an option if you don't wish to use therapy visits for camp.

Campers bring their own food and snacks to camp.

Camp in Motion is an adaptive sports camp for children with physical limitations, including but not limited to cerebral palsy and other similar neurological diagnoses. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are onsite throughout the camp week. One on one camper buddies are assigned to assist in participation in the camp experience. A wide variety of sports options and swimming are available. Camp in Motion is offered at different locations in the greater Austin area. Please see website for additional information and sign-ups. Participants must place current therapy services on hold and complete a pre-camp therapy evaluation prior to participation.
