CampedUP - New York, NY

CampedUP is a summer program located in Manhattan for cochlear implant and hearing aid users using an auditory-based communication approach. Our mission is to provide a community in which each child will be able to socialize with other children with hearing loss, gain self-advocacy skills, and have a blast in a unique listener-friendly environment!

CampedUP seeks to engage children in experiences that help build positive self-identity, self-esteem, and self-worth. This unique summer experience allows children to explore, share,e and play with other children with hearing loss while growing and using spoken language skills.

We are excited to offer a summer camp created and operated by Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. All staff are familiar with equipment and provide support based on the needs of each individual child.
