Caregivers

Participants with full-time nursing are welcome for their nurse or parent CNA to accompany them. Family members are welcome to stay in our family & community room during camp.

Arvada camps run from late May - mid August
Loveland camps run from mid July - mid August

Sessions are either 9:30-3:00 or 9:30-12:30, Monday-Friday

Funding options through Medicaid waivers (CES, DD, SLS); Scholarships/camp grants through Developmental Pathways, Rocky Mountain Human Services, and Developmental Disabilities Resource Center; FSSP funding

Caregivers are required to send snacks, lunch, a drink, OR supplies for g/j-tube feeds.

Conductive Education Summer Camps are designed for individuals with motor disabilities such as but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and genetic conditions. We hold camps both in Loveland and Arvada, Colorado. Our camps are 2-6 week intensive programs that teach participants skills in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, speech and communication, problem solving skills, ADL activities, and independence in their daily lives. Our program is staffed 1:1 and takes place in a small group setting, where participants work together on similar tasks and motivate & encourage one another. This is a unique learning environment unlike any other therapy camp in Colorado. Able to accommodate high-support feeding (including g/j-tubes), toileting, and transferring.
