This is a safe, structured, specialized summer program for individuals age 7 and up with developmental disabilities. Our camp meets Monday through Thursday from 9 am - 3 pm from mid June until early August. Camp fees are due prior to the first day of camp and cover the entire 8 week program. Our staff are certified to work with individuals with developmental disability diagnoses and we maintain a 4:1 camper to staff ratio. Themed weeks are incorporated with all activities: individual/hands on, group, exercise/movement, fine motor/gross motor, special onsite visitors, 4 offsite field trips including the Library, Schiele Museum/Planetarium, Dallas Park, Bit of Hope Ranch and a Gastonia Grizzlies game! This is not only a wonderful program for these individuals, but it also provides security to their families!

Due to most campers having food allergies or nutritional barriers, each camper is responsible for bringing their own lunch each day. We will provide an afternoon snack that everyone can eat based on listed allergies, etc.
