Life Compass 2018 will run from July 30 - August 3rd, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our program offers youth with special needs (Ages 7-17 split into age/ability appropriate groups) the opportunities to experience nature hikes, fishing, archery, team building, and life skills projects that bring a world of fun and exploration into their summer. Camp pricing is $175.00 per camper (We offer a 10% sibling discount), which includes price of camp shirt, backpack, and water bottle, as well as all activities offered by our program.

Life Compass Camp provides healthy snacks twice daily for campers, as well as low butter/sodium popcorn during movie time. Participants are required to bring their own lunches. Microwaves are available should campers require hot lunches.

Life Compass Camp is a volunteer-operated program founded by a group of family and friends who wanted to offer campers more in a day camp.Our program runs 7:00am - 6:00pm (July 30 - August 3rd, 2018) where campers can benefit from a structured and compassionate small group environment with a focus on building personal and social confidence. Our programs are structured to provide campers with Aspergers, ADHD, Autism, and Social Anxiety an outdoor summer camp experience that meets their needs. Our staff provide small, intimate, and supportive environments. They have worked in fields related to education, special education, psychology, counseling, and youth programs.

Staff to camper ratios: Age 7- 10 is 1:6; Age 11-17 is 1:8. Two staff members are present at all times when campers are present. No staff member is one-on-one with a camper at any time.
Staff training: Autism Behavior; Universal Precautions; Child Abuse Prevention; First Aid / CPR; Crisis Prevention; Youth Protection.
