Parents and Siblings are able to attend with their camper during our Family Camp program.
Caregivers can attend alongside those with higher needs (e.g. medical, behavioral, night assistance).

Main Camp - (Ages 12- 45) - $1450.00
Family Camp - (Ages 8+)- $TBD/person

*MAIN CAMP:
Campers sleep, eat, and spend their time doing activities at our main campsite. These campers are assigned to a group and cabin by gender. We strive for a 1:1 camper-to-counselor ratio. New Campers are only eligible for our Main Camp program.

For those paying privately and who qualify, Camperships for up to $450 are available Campership applications are online at www.mhkc.org starting February 15th.

FOOD AT CAMP

Meals are served Family Style. Campers sit together with their groups for all meals.
Once throughout the week, each group has a cookout-style dinner at one of our fire pits. Snacks are available throughout the day.

Our kitchen staff works hard to accommodate most camper dietary needs. If your camper has strict dietary needs please speak with the Programs Director prior to registering your camper for camp. If we are unable to accommodate your camper's dietary needs you may bring prepared food for them. We have a standard-size
refrigerator in our main Dining Hall. If your camper is a particularly picky eater please bring food to supplement your camper's diet. MHKC is NOT a certified Gluten Free or Peanut free facility.

For individuals who have Diabetes: our camp nurses are able to approximate the number of carbohydrates in each meal, however, we cook all our food family-style and are unable to pinpoint the exact number of carbohydrates. If your camper needs strict carb counting please speak with the Program Director prior to registering your camper.

* Campers with these food needs are asked to bring along food and snacks to supplement their camp diet.

At Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, we empower children and adults with developmental disabilities through equitable access to the outdoors and recreation. For over 80 years, we have partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to provide individuals with developmental disabilities an outstanding overnight recreational opportunity in the Mt. Hood National Forest. We offer eight, week-long, sessions of overnight summer camping and strive to provide our campers with a 1:1 camper/counselor ratio. We also offer various programming throughout the year at our fully accessible 22-acre campsite.

Our campers go through many powerful experiences every day. Campers talk about how many fish they caught, the friends they danced with, and the fear they overcame by doing the zip line. Even more extraordinary is how experiences at camp positively contribute to the total growth of our campers. They grow as individuals and blossom in ways only summer camp can foster.
