National Ability Center offers a three day day-camp experience for individuals with a disability and their sibling to join them.

Summer Camp starts June 5th, 2023 and runs until August 25th, 2023

All Camps, no matter what they are named, are "exploratory-style", meaning campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of summer recreation and camp activities which may include archery, arts and crafts, community field trips, cycling, high ropes challenge course, indoor climbing, field games, mountain biking, paddle sports, sensory and science projects, and equestrian activities. All Discovery Camps are designed to accommodate people with or without disabilities and we offer mostly ranch-based programs. Much of the "Adventure-style" programs are for the older populations, e.g. Overnight Camps and XTreme Action Camp.

Crusaders Day Camp: serves individuals with cognitive disabilities including intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder ages 8-18

Adventurers Day Camp: serves individuals on the autism spectrum ages 8-18

Trailblazers Day Camp: serves individuals who would benefit from 1:1 support with behavioral needs from our camps staff; ages 8-18

All Access Day Camp: serves individuals who would benefit from 1:1 assistance with personal care throughout the camp day (i.e., feeding, diaper changes, etc.); ages 8-18

Crusaders & Adventurers: serves individuals with cognitive disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder; ages 8-14, 14-18, and 18+; also includes overnight options

X-Treme Action Overnight: serves individuals with physical disabilities and/or visual impairments ages 12-18

Siblings Camps: serves individuals with a disability and a friend or sibling with or without disabilities

For day camps, campers are required to bring their own lunches. For overnight camp experiences, food is provided and a variety of special diets are catered to.

The National Ability Center, a non-profit membership organization founded in 1985, provides adaptive outdoor recreation programs for people with physical, developmental, and emotional disabilities. Our camp objectives are to provide safe, fun, and challenging activities that promote the development of healthy recreation with peers while increasing self-confidence and independence. Safety is emphasized in every aspect of the program. We provide a great deal of personal and group support, encouragement, and carefully facilitated challenges that help build friendships. Our staff are chosen for their experience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with people of all abilities. All of our camps are based out of our beautiful ranch facility in Park City, UT.
