Learn valuable skills to make a successful transition to college and beyond during these 2-week programs at highly-rated campuses across the U.S.

Since 2009, Summer@CIP has helped hundreds of students prepare for their next steps; whether it’s attending a college, preparing for the workforce, or learning to live independently. Summer@CIP provides young adults with learning differences with the valuable skills necessary for making a well-prepared transition.

Participants get a taste of CIP’s comprehensive curriculum which includes: executive functioning, social skills, and life skills. Students develop Person-Centered Plans, gain self-confidence and independent living experiences. They walk away with lasting memories and lifelong friendships. A detailed assessment is provided after the program is complete.

Throughout our 2-week sessions several fun and exciting activities are planned. Spend some time outdoors this summer hiking, swimming, and exploring local highlights. Past students have enjoyed the ropes courses, theme park trips, and professional sports outings; this year will be no different! Participants will also have some scheduled downtime to relax and socialize.

Program cost of $5,100 covers the activities, budgeting practice, room and board (3 meals a day), and 24/7 staffing support.

Summer@CIP prepares young adults with special needs with the valuable skills necessary for making a well-prepared transition from high school to college or while pursuing vocational interests. Participants have ample opportunities to practice skills in a supported environment where they feel successful, build self-confidence and learn to advocate.
