OVERNIGHT SUMMER CAMPS: Duration - One Week, unless in our Outpost Program. We offer a variety of sessions including Classic sessions, Horseback Riding Camp, and The Outpost. Our activities are accessible and include horseback riding, boating, swimming, fishing, archery, crafts, the tree house, high ropes w/ zipline, climbing wall, nature activities, and more. All camps have a 1:3 staff to camper ratio. Limited spots available for 1:1 aides based on camper behavior.

Camperships are offered on first come, first serve basis, and awarded based upon need. Families must submit an application with requested documents.

We hold contracts with numerous agencies throughout the state. You can used your respite dollars at camp!

All meals offered are consistant with FDA recommendations, the individual needs of campers; and are provided in conjunction with ACA & Michigan Department of Health & Human Services requirements .

The Fowler Center (TFC) provides a safe, well-staffed environment where children and adults with disabilities can learn recreational, social, and personal skills in an outdoor, natural environment. TFC encourages each camper to develop a self-sufficient attitude and self-esteem; the opportunity to feel a part of a group of friendly people; promotes an understanding of our environment & how to protect and care for it; exposes campers to new & different recreation and leisure activities, such as aquatics, boating, fishing, challenge courses, wall climbing, high ropes, hiking, & horse back riding - all of which are fully accessible.
