Camp Pathfinder is a co-ed program for adults with Down syndrome and other disabilities. Our program is designed to maximize each person's potential, locate and develop strengths and untapped abilities, and facilitate social relations.
Skyline welcomes campers with special needs in two sessions ( young adults, adults) for week-long residential camp. Just north of Metro Detroit, Skyline is accredited by the American Camp Association. Ratio for special needs camps is 1:3.

Camp Aldersgate provides traditional residential camping experiences for children with medical, physical, and developmental challenges. Sessions include week long disability specific and inclusive (for children with and without disabilities) summer camps. There are also weekend Respite sessions year round.
Since 1956, we have operated an accessible summer camp for both children and adults with disabilities at our Camp Baker location in Chesterfield County. Located on 22 wooded acres, Camp Baker lets our campers enjoy a best-in-class, traditional summer camp experience, including: horseback riding, arts and crafts, swimming, fishing, paddle boating, hiking, and even outdoor tent camping.
Therapeutic Summer Camps
MICC’s Summer program is a weeklong journey for autistic and neurodivergent teens and young adults to a future filled with possibilities for living independently, working purposefully and thriving in community. This is a great introduction to MICC’s hands-on, skills-based approach as attendees build independent living skills, explore careers through on-the-job learning, practice self-advocacy and receive social coaching.
Easterseals Oregon's barrier-free summer camp for children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs provides a place where activities are designed to be inclusive. Campers discover new abilities, gain independence, make lifelong friendships, and build lasting memories. In addition, caregivers receive respite time to rejuvenate themselves. Our camp sessions are five-days and four-nights in July at Evans Creek Retreat.

Camp WINGS is a new camp program for young adults 11-26 years looking for a fun and learning filled summer experience! Campers will engage in fun field trips, job skills both on and off campus, and many more life skills related activities at The Hawk.
Special Camps (est in 1995), is an all volunteer run camp for campers with intellectual disabilities. This year we will rent Camp Red Leaf in Ingleside, IL for our exclusive use in June.
For over 35 years Camp Shalom has been a leader in summer camp programs for adults who have special needs. We have built many relationships with group homes and caregivers who rely on our camp every year to offer respite for caregivers and parents along with providing fun and meaningful vacations for their clients. Many of our guests have attended for over a decade and look forward to it every year.
