A sleep away camp experience that promotes personal growth and fosters independence for individuals with special needs. Opened in 1968, Camp Civitan offers week-long summer camp sessions and year-round weekend camps at a 15-acre accessible facility in the cool Northern Arizona town of Williams.

Camp designed to engage children with physical, cognitive or behavioral challenges in traditional camp activities. Environment designed to provide all campers with appropriate opportunities to socialize with like peers. Our staff are specially trained to work with children and adults with physical disabilities, cognitive delays, and work with all behaviors.

Each summer we offer a unique, skills-based summer program for teens and adults with disabilities. Since 2014, campers have engaged in cooking, yoga, hiking, socialization, geocaching, technology, self-care, communication skills, Zumba, meditation, money management, art, theater, self-expression, self-advocacy, and so much more.

Indy Parks Camp GATHER/GOM is a day camp that services youth ages 6-18 with physical and (or) intellectual limitations. In our 7-week day camp, campers will participate in activities such as life skills, motor skills, community programs, and communication skills. Summer Day Camp is an exciting four-week program that will give children with special needs a fun and active summer. We plan our activities and structure to give your child a memorable camp experience. Summer Day Camp will provide the opportunity to experience the fun of summer while developing a friendship with a volunteer and other campers. Day Camp combines learning critical social skills with a fun and engaging camp experience.

Providing a residential camping experience for children and adults with disabilities. We concentrate on camper's abilities, not disabilities.

Our camps are geared towards students at 3rd - 8th-grade academic levels or rising 9th graders to first-year college students. Both camps enhance social skills and maintain academic performance. Elementary/middle school students will develop their social skills through team-building exercises, enriching activities, and exciting field trips. High school focus topics will include physical well-being, mindfulness, and Adulting 101.

Clover Patch welcomes physically and/or developmentally disabled campers ages five and older. The program provides families and caregivers a period of reprieve while at the same time providing campers with a challenging, educational and fun outdoor living experience in a fully accessible natural setting.

Located on 52 acres in the Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation in Strongsville, Camp Cheerful is Ohio's first barrier-free camp. Camp Cheerful offers residential co-ed sessions in a beautiful outdoor environment for children and adults ages 7 and older with special needs.
