We use the Frequency, Intensity, Duration Model. Our campers make phenomenal gains in motor skills, language, social skills, academics and sensory processing. We require the presence of at least one parent for each camper, the camp becomes a parent training, networking and support system. Parents are trained in therapy techniques that can be used at home to continue advancement of their child.

Our camp is an intense speech and language based program taught by licensed and graduate level speech pathologists. Our innovative camp is thematically based and includes weekly field trips.

Harbor Haven is a comprehensive summer day camp program for ages 3-18 with mild special needs. We are entering our 28th year of excellence in summer programming!

Camp Dream is a recreational, traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. Camp Dream is 100% volunteer, offering a one-to-one camper-counselor ratio. Camp Dream is a barrier free environment that has never turned away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability.

Special Camps (est in 1995), is an all volunteer run camp for campers with intellectual disabilities. This year we will rent Camp Red Leaf in Ingleside, IL for our exclusive use in June.

Kostopulos Dream Foundation's mission is to improve quality of life of individuals with disabilities through recreation and growth experiences.

Great Heights Academy provides 9 FUN weeks of carefully planned activities for our special kids in mind. ​Camp Yakety Yak helps children with special needs grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Structured in a fun, day camp setting in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Camp Yakety Yak is staffed with knowledgeable professionals and caring volunteers to teach friendship skills to children and young adults, age 6-22. Bournelyf Special Camp operates as a summer day camp in West Chester, PA, with programs involving recreational, physical fitness and lifetime wellness in conjunction with developing communication and social skills for individuals with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities. We promote the development of each camper's potential through participation in an exciting variety of challenging outdoor activities.

Easterseals Oregon's barrier-free summer camp for children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs provides a place where activities are designed to be inclusive. Campers discover new abilities, gain independence, make lifelong friendships, and build lasting memories. In addition, caregivers receive respite time to rejuvenate themselves. Our camp sessions are five-days and four-nights in July at Evans Creek Retreat.

The Woodlands Foundation offers over-night summer camps, weekend retreats and additional after- school programs for individuals of all ages with disability and chronic illness.
