Camp Take Root - Brain and Body Development
MGH Aspire: Year-Round Autism & Asperger's Programs: We offer fall, spring and summer programs to help children, teens, and adults with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related social profile make social connections and develop independence.
We offer a unique program for individuals with autism using visually structured programming, 1:1 and 1:2 positive support from well trained college and graduate students, development of independent living skills, and opportunities for engaging in social interaction with peers.
Each counselor is responsible for leading 1-2 campers each session through a week of typical camping activities, such as swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, boating, etc. Responsibilities include adapting activities and environments to camper needs, assisting campers in areas of communication, personal care, and other deficit areas, and encouraging participation.

Challenge is a five-week summer program for elementary students with mild to moderate learning or language disabilities. The program focuses on maintenance of academic skills, instruction in new strategies to succeed in school, and the continuing development of self-esteem.
This unique recreational program is specifically designed for individual children and youth who are unable to attend a mainstream residential camp program due to their high support needs. The camp program is facilitated by a professional team of specialized counsellors, it offers individualized care and a range of programming designed to provide a rich social and recreational experience.

We will have so much fun learning about all of our rescued animals, grooming them, feeding them, and making animal- related crafts. We will also learn basic horseback riding skills in our riding ring!
Beyond Akeela is a co-ed summer transition program for quirky teens who have completed 10th - 12th grade. We are a small, intentional community with a focus on social growth, college/job readiness, and FUN!
Camp Aristotle helps students improve and maintain their social and self-regulation skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
YAI- Mainstreaming At Camp (MAC) - A program ran in partnership with Frost Valley YMCA in the Catskill mountains of New York State serving children and young adults with developmental disabilities from 8-18 in an inclusive setting striving to expand the reach of summer camp to all people.
Quest Therapeutic Camps of Southern California provides summer day camp services and after-school programs specifically designed to help kids with special needs and learning differences find success. We welcome kids with ADHD, ADD, Asperger’s and high-functioning Autism, social anxiety, learning disabilities, depression and more.
Autistic Community Activity Program (ACAP) provides education through recreation for people with Autism (ASD) via fun daily recreational community activities and learning experiences.
