Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake is a fully accessible residential summer camp that serves children who are 'at-risk', disadvantaged and /or living with emotional, physical and developmental disabilties.
This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 3 camp participants per one counselor, but one to one counseling is available.
Dream Oaks provides day and residential year-round camp experiences for children, 7-17, with special needs and/or chronic illnesses.
POW Therapeutic Summer Camp consists of language groups led by a special educator and speech-language pathologist, consisting of communication development, language-based activities, play therapy, and brief individual/dyad sessions.
