MHKC empowers individuals with developmental disabilities through equitable access to the outdoors and recreation. We provide a can-do, accepting, caring, friendly, independence-, and confidence-building environment. We have provided overnight camping programs since 1933. In 1957, our focus changed to primarily serving individuals with disabilities. We are accredited through the American Camp Association.

Great Heights Academy provides 9 FUN weeks of carefully planned activities for our special kids in mind. Our campers range from 3-22 years of age with varying disabilities such as: autism, Down syndrome, Aspergers, Intellectual disabilities, and more. Fun activities include: Horse Therapy, Music Therapy, Weekly Field Trips, P.E., Cooking, etc.

Since 1956, we have operated an accessible summer camp for both children and adults with disabilities at our Camp Baker location in Chesterfield County. Located on 22 wooded acres, Camp Baker lets our campers enjoy a best-in-class, traditional summer camp experience, including: horseback riding, arts and crafts, swimming, fishing, paddle boating, hiking, and even outdoor tent camping.

The nation's first sensory-friendly music, arts, yoga, and wellness festival for all ages and abilities. Inclusion Festival will debut for a weekend long event July 28-29, 2018 at Mountain Sky Festival Grounds in Jermyn, PA. The festival will celebrate neurodiversity, promote understanding and acceptance, and provides diverse educational opportunities within a safe, nurturing environment.

Camp Nuhop is a residential summer camp for neurodiverse children, diagnosed but not limited to ASD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ODD, DMDD, IED, PDD-NOS, and other neurodiversities. Our 3:8 staff to camper ratio provides a traditional summer camp program with staff support to engage with each camper's individual and diverse needs. We focus on supporting the social and emotional needs of our campers.

Mountain Respite Camp (MRC) offers a peer led camp experience to individuals living with or affected psychiatric disabilities.

Camp Escapades is an innovative summer day camp for children with developmental concerns and their siblings. Groups are staffed with occupational, physical or speech therapists, paraprofessional educators and one-on-one teen volunteers who are the child's "buddy" throughout the week. Activities include sensory experiences, dance, sports, fine motor skill development, music, games, yoga, cooking, and special events.

Dragonfly Forest is a specialty overnight camp program for kids and young adults with Autism, 22q, Asthma, Sickle Cell Disease, and other developmental disabilities.

Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake is a fully accessible residential summer camp that serves children who are 'at-risk', disadvantaged and /or living with emotional, physical and developmental disabilties.

Arms in Action is an intensive summer therapy camp for children with hemiplegia ages 4 to 7 years old. The camp, led by occupational and physical therapists, will use principles of modified constraint induced movement therapy, bimanual intensive training, and caregiver education in a playful, engaging and fun group setting.

Camp All For One is an inclusive day camp for children and teens with or without disabilities. Camp activities include horseback riding, nature walks, fishing, cooking, gardening, music, arts and crafts, dance, team building games, special guests and so much more! Every day is structured and scheduled with multiple activity choices to suit everyone's interests. This camp provides ample staff support for all of our campers.

The Team GUTS Fun & Fitness Camp is not only about having a great time, but being introduced to different physical activities in positive way and having that social component is very important as well. Health and wellness is not always at the forefront for our loved ones, but it is so important and so needed.
